Vector Detector
Showing children how to prevent vector-borne diseases
Project Background
The Washington, D.C., Department of Health was looking for new materials to share with local elementary school students during classroom presentations on preventing vector-borne diseases.
Client: DC Health
Our Work
We created the Vector Detector, a new character that demonstrates how children and families can protect themselves from mosquitos and ticks. In this zine-style handout, children can learn how mosquitos and ticks live around the yard and in the city. They also see how germs are carried inside these vectors.
